    Who would think that Richard Basehart, Barry Sullivan and Cyd Charisse would team in a film noir?! Excellent repudiation of the conventional interpretation of the femme fatale as posed in the Silver volume, and the subsequent delineation of Totter’s ultimate machinations.

    That IS really a brilliantly written scene, and you are quite right to feature it here. The graphics for this post are superlative!

    This is one of the greatest films I have ever seen. I remember I was 14 at the time seeing Audrey Totter. Man oh man what a dame! The only reason I dig film noir. I don’t know if I am barking at the moon but that’s ok.
