   Hi! Tony,
   Oh! yes, a “classic” film…Sometimes, I forget that Huston’s “handwriting” played a part too in the classic script from W.R.Burnett’s High Sierra.

   Yes, Tony, these gentlemen do qualify as “noir poets” a fact that I was reminded of over the past two weeks with the just-concluding ‘John Huston Blogothon’ at Icebox Movies. Huston’s most distinguished work was in noir, and his collaboration here with Burnett, on HIGH SIERRA (great dialogue there!) is a defining example of how this partnership helped to advance the form.
