Definitely outstanding writing. I really enjoyed this film when I finally got the chance to see it... one in the career of Edward G. that needs to be more well known than it is. As Sam says, it's nice to read this and know that the source material is as outstanding as the film.

Extraordinary passage by this extraordinary writer. That last paragraph especially is a brilliant coda. Another film of considerable quality in Farrow's catalogue, and a very attractive score by Victor Young, one of my favorites from this underrated composer. And John Seitz's dark and creepy camerawork is the essential underpinning for Farrow's vision. Robinson gives a terrific turn.

But it's nice to know here - or be reminded by you Tony - that the source material for this film is exquisite writing of the top rank, characteristic of someone as talented as Woolrich.

Thanks for that clip there Dee Dee, which I accessed.

Hi! Tony,
What a very interesting excerpt from author Cornell Woolrich's 1945 book Night Has a Thousand Eyes

Oh! Yes, I have watched this film and I think I have to rewatched it soon...Here goes a clip of this very hard to find film. I must admit that it's in need of an upgrade.
