I really enjoyed this film when I finally got the chance to see it... one in the career of Edward G. that needs to be more well known than it is. That last paragraph especially is a brilliant coda. Another film of considerable quality in Farrow's catalogue, and a very attractive score by Victor Young, one of my favorites from this underrated composer. And John Seitz's dark and creepy camerawork is the essential underpinning for Farrow's vision. Robinson gives a terrific turn. But it's nice to know here - or be reminded by you Tony - that the source material for this film is exquisite writing of the top rank, characteristic of someone as talented as Woolrich.
