    And it visually encapsulates the vision one would have of NYC in the early 50’s in the noir universe. I have seen this particular film, (and own the DVD) and agree this is a perfect cap to bring it into focus. The film is notable of course for it’s lack of dialogue, and Sam Leavitt’s atmospheric cinematography, but I’d also put in a very good work for Herschel Burke Gilbert’s terrific score and Ray Milland’s performance.
